Kiwanis Club of Port Phillip “Kiwanis Curbing Hunger” 2006 Appeal. We are seeking donations for our annual “Kiwanis curbing hunger” appeal. We would appreciate any donations or food parcels comprising non perishable foods. All you need to do is place the items in a plastic bag with this leaflet leave it on the kerb before 11.00am on Sunday 19th Nov 2006. Volunteers from Kiwanis Clubs will pick your donations up between 11am-1.00 pm. The food will be distributed to charities in the Port Phillip area that serve needy families. This is a local campaign by local people to help local people. Your donation is never too small to make a difference to peoples’ lives. Last year’s campaign helped Ardoch House, Emerald Hill Mission, and St. Lukes. Non-perishable food items include: canned food and fruits, dry pasta, instant noodles, soups, tea, coffee, long life milk. Donate your food parcel by placing it on the footpath outside your front gate at 11.00am Sunday 19th Nov 2006 for collection by Volunteers. Alternatively leave donations at St. Kilda; South and Port Melbourne Town Halls during office hours 13-17th Nov 2006. What is Kiwanis?
