Planning and contact has been made with School Principals at Darwin Schools.

It is intended to launch Kiwanis Terrific Kids programs at Primary Schools in the Darwin region during the first semester of the 2008 school year.

Wagaman Primary School was the first school in Darwins Northern suburbs to pilot the Kiwanis Terrific Kids program.

The Launch of Kiwanis Terrific Kids at Wanguri Primary School was held during the Schools Assembly on Friday 28th March 2008 with Hon. Paul Henderson MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory (of Australia) and Member for Wanguri attending. Roger Coutts, President and Phil Hedger, Secretary represented the Kiwanis Club of Darwin at the assembly.
